This route is the shape of the medieval village of Ilmington. The main street would have been Middle Street with all the houses lined up along it. Front and Back Streets gave access to the back of the Burgage plots behind each house, that is a strip of agricultural land. The last remaining intact Burgage plot can be found behind Middle Meadow.
Be careful at the northern part of this route as you have to go along both the Stratford and Mickleton Roads with no pavements available.
